Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama resort covers nearly 400 acres of land. The golf course winds around the back of the property and Abama Beach is accessible via a complimentary resort train or panoramic funicular. The resort’s 40-seater train runs daily, transporting guests from the lobby to the beach, via a scheduled itinerary of stops. Visit Playa San Juan, just over two miles away, to sample alternative restaurants and bars – and return to the resort to admire glorious sunsets overlooking the neighbouring island of La Gomera.
